Mandy and Pauline founded Solar Salsa in 2007 and have been teaching ever since.
Mandy excels in Cuban body movement. She frequently visits Cuba (home of salsa and 2nd home of Mandy) and thus embodies the latest moves and trends.
Pauline adores the group dance Rueda de Casino, has amassed a repertoire of moves and has been 'calling' Rueda for nearly two decades. She is a trained teacher and loves sharing Salsa joy with learners at every level.
Both Mandy and Pauline, as well as teaching all aspects of Cuban Salsa, have nurtured the dance community from a handful of dancers to an extensive caring, welcoming and fun-loving community who are a pleasure to teach. <3

Angelos fell in love with Cuban Salsa and trained with dance teachers across the UK in Rueda De Casino, Son Cubano, Timba, AfroCuban e.g. Rumba, and sprinkles of other styles (including Cali, Cross body, Bachata). He loves sharing the fun of Salsa dancing, Latin music, crazy Rueda patterns and Cuban sabor with our students.
Julie is a beautiful Salsa and Kizomba dancer who has been teaching both dances for several years and is seen on dance floors throughout the region. If you see her out and ask her to dance she will happily lead or follow :) She specialises in breaking down and explaining Salsa dancing technique in terms all can understand. She teaches in this way in all classes and at all levels.
