Meet great people, keep fit, and do something sustainable that makes you feel amazing!

Solar Salsa is South Manchester's answer to Cuba. We run regular weekly salsa classes on Tuesdays (7.15pm) and Thursdays (7.30pm) at the Spread Eagle pub in Chorlton, and appear frequently at dance demonstrations, festivals, and salsa club events around Greater Manchester. Offering introductory classes to groups and events, our flavour is inclusive, friendly and fun. Solar Salsa classes are often based around the Cuban 'rueda' salsa style - a group dance where partners are exchanged every few steps. This approach allows technique and body movement to transfer quickly between instructors, experienced dancers, and newcomers, and ensures everyone gets involved from their very first class.

In addition to teaching Salsa and Rueda from beginners-advanced, our classes regularly give you a taste of some related (and not-so-related) dance styles: Reggaeton, Bachata, Tango, and Son.
